For example, If I purchased a chain saw from a Walmart in Ohio Two months later the chain snapped and if it will cause severely injury. Can I sue WalMart for negligence under my state Kansas law?

Can you think of any laws applied in both state and federal, and which courts have personal jurisdiction that I can sue?

Walmart would not be liable, the chainsaw manufacturer would be (assuming you followed the directions that came with the chainsaw). Sue them instead.

If you pursue this, you'd better know that saw inside and out - operation, maintenance, etc.

Have you any experience with any type of chain-saw before having the problem with this one?

How did the chain snap? I've used chain saws for clearing our farm property, never had one snap before. Did you cut into a nail or staple? If so, it's not the chain-saw's fault - it's yours. You'll lose if you go up against them.

Chain-saws are inherently dangerous - nothing to play with if not familiar with them.
