I've been having problems w/ my now X-doctor. I went to him for 3yrs.For 20+ yrs. I've had issues w/ my shoulder. It used to hurt only in the colder months but now its chronic pain. He gave me a shot in my shoulder, of what I don't know. He left a terrible bruise and sent me for x-rays. It took over a month because he never filled out the radiology request right.Crying in pain from shoulder, and now a pinched nerve, never prescribed anything for pain. I've never had a prescrption med. prob. or any other for that matter. I have a small pharmacy of anti-inflams. after research found some to be anti-anxiety pills, which made me a wreck. My new doc hasn't received my files after a request . went to get them myself and was told he wasnt letting them go. Cant he be fined 4 not forwarding files after 30 days?He also told me my xrays came back "FINE".I saw them and there is a possible rotator cuff injury and dejenerative joint disease in my back. Is this negligence? He's been in court b4 4 this

Well if he is horrible and you can sue him do it, it dosent sound like hes doing his job and being lazy. Go find an ORTHOPEDIC doctor that specilizes in SHOULDERS! Go see him/her and they will provide better care then he is. They also do surgery in a hospitol or sometimes in a smaller medical clinic. The new doctor will probably either have an x-ray or mri done and he will determine the case. You should tell him everything that has happened with your shoulder and he/she will be able to fix it. And see if you can sue the crappy doctor.

most doctors want you to go without surgery for as long as possible.I don't understand the reasoning behind it.I wished i did spine surgery 4 1/2 before i did.I ad DDD in my lumbar and got it fixed here. http://www.getadr.com/?OVRAW=artifical%20disc%20replacement&OVKEY=artificial%20disc%20replacement&OVMTC=standard
as far as negligence goes its tough to prove and then ...well whats your damages ? this new dr said POSSIBLE ROTATOR CUFF injury.which in the eyes of the law means mabey mabey not.what if you dont improve with surgery ? with the new dr get an mri of your spine and shoulder and get your life back.figure out a solution to your condition then worry about sueing.if that is an option.see if you can get a mal practice lawyer that will work on a contingency usually 1/3 of the settlement.have him send your x Dr a letter requesting medical records.in the mean time document every thing that has happend with times and dates.first and formost get the medical attention you need
as crazy as it sounds your better off with a disc issue and doing spine surgery than haveing shoulder surgery.i had both.
