There are, however, a ton o' patent lawyers in Alexandria, Virginia, where the USPTO (US Patent and Trademark Office) is located. I suggest that you consult with a licensed patent attorney, who does not necessarily have to be in Florida. It is not difficult with email and fax to work with an out of state attorney.
