For this essay, please choose a topic related to either medical ethics or medical law and write a brief synopsis of the ethical concerns that the subject raises. This can include malpractice reform, Medicare reform, Medical Savings accounts, Managed Care structures, Universal Healthcare, Single Payer Systems or Bioethical matters. Any of these topics are acceptable, as are any other topics that you might wish to cover. The goal of this essay is to relate ethics to medicine and use some of the key ethical concepts that we discussed in both the lecture.

you could always write about informed consent--lots of ethics stuff involved there. But we shouldn't be doing your homework for you.

Are you that lazy to do the work yourself? It's your grade, no one else's. Just by asking this question, it prove that you are a irresponsible person for not doing your work.

i find it funny that you've obviously wasted your time as you havent started and its in for tomorrow...

yet instead of getting on and DOING IT
you're asking someone else to do it for you!

take some responsibility love.

genocide or assisted suicide, it is a good topic because it is an ethical debate and a medical debate.... take a person off life support and let them go peacefully or maintain the life support. there are alot of cases recently in the papers and on-line that can assist you with the research. Hope this helps good luck. Ignore the people criticizing you, I know how summer classes are especially if your doing it on line. ciao

I always found managed healthcare to be interesting. Looking at the involvement of insurance companies in effective healthcare and how it effects how a doctor does his/her job.

Malpractice reform please and send me a copy to my email when you're done, I'd like to get a fresh student's opinion related to ethics, malpractice, court influences and the general direction the medical industry should take to reform, this should cover both bases as long as you define differences and sumarize major concerns, likely to impress professor. But you have to decide based on what information you collected best from the lecture.
