Dr. Amit Misra was found guilty of killing Sean Phillips aged 31 by gross negligence. Sean went to hospital for a routine knee op and somehow acquired an infection, which Misra failed to diagnose. When he did notice that his patient was dying he didn't tell anyone because he was "too proud"
He escaped prison because his counsel argued that his medical career was in ruins. He was suspended for a year,
but now the GMC has decided to let him continue practising despite finding during a performance assessment that his techniques were "unacceptable" in three out of four areas.
What sort of organisational shambles is the NHS running here.
I would like to know which hospital is employing him so I can avoid it. What do you think?
Sunday Times. Rod Liddles column.
Nimaeve. You may not be his patient
now, but are you sure you will not be in
the future. Do you know the history of every doctor who treats you. Do we not have the right to expect that the people who we put our life in their hands are at least competent.

Easy, of course I wouldn't trust these doctor, actually I'll try to avoid it too, but just not entering to a specific hospital will do the thing. You can go to the hospital and ask for the Dr. Amit Misra and politelly ask not to be treated by him. You are in youre right so dont worry its politically corect t ask for it.

I'm not his patient. I'm not likely to be his patient, so there is nothing to be happy or unhappy about since he isn't treating me. This question would only be relevant to other people who are actual patients of Dr. Misra. so is illogical when asked of people who aren't his patients.
