I'm writing a paper on assisted suicide laws in Oregon and how they're wrong, one of my arguments is that a physician could kill a patient for no reason and claim it was assisted suicide. Or, if they die by malpractice without the intention to kill the patient then the physician could still blame it on assisted suicide. My question is, are there any examples in Oregon of where a physician claimed assisted suicide, but it was found out to be homicide?

Not just any physician can carry out "physician-assisted suicide". There are specially licensed physicians that are registered with the state to have the drugs involved in the death process. My doctor cannot carry out the process.
I believe that there's some paperwork that has to be filled out by the patient first (consent, etc.) However, if any of these special physicians were to carry this out without the explicit consent of the patient, then I can only assume that they would charged with murder.
The people of Oregon passed this euthanasia bill twice. When it first passed and became law, and again a few years later when a referendum was brought up against it. I believe the second time it actually passed by a larger margin than the first time, but don't quote me on that, because I'm not entirely sure.
