Not for a psychiatrist-- except it is kind of funny if U have no diagnosis. U have to have a diagnosis by now. Ask what is he/she treating. Some ailments can only be held in a maintenance pattern with medication. So it also depends on what is wrong. The doctor has to give U a reason for the medications-- a diagnosis.
