A "birth injury" occurs in seven out of every 1000 births in the US Those injuries can occur during pregnancy, during delivery, and during newborn care immediately following delivery. While not all birth-related injuries or trauma are the result of negligence or malpractice, when malpractice is the cause of a lifetime disability there is no reason any child should be denied the financial help and therapeutic resources they deserve. Children who have been injured in the labor and delivery process have rights that should be protected. The birth injury trial and settlement attorneys at the Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger law firm in San Francisco are here to help.
