i recently had surgery in canada to put metal plates and screws in my wrist as i had displaced fractures of both the bones in my left arm whilst on holiday. my insurance company paid for the surgery, but i have had to come back to the uk.
now the doctors in the uk say i need another surgery because one of the screws has been put through the joint of my wrist, which they say is going to cause arthiritis and nerve damage and possible limited movement of the wrist.
if the screw had not gone through the wrist joint they said i would have made a full recover as i am 18 years old and very healthy.
do you think i can claim?
okay i will do thanks
Amanda
yes, i think you do have a case there.. but, im not an expert..
i think you should post this question on the legal section of Y!A, a lot of the people who answer those questions know what they're talking about
