I as a mother of AAKASH MAIDWAL request you all that Let us all pledge today that we will extend our help to all those people who have unfortunately met with a road accident and need our help.....
I pledge that I will help any such person that I come across in any which way I can.... I will not let anyone loose his/her life just because they did not get medical help at the right time.... I pledge to bring back humanity on the roads.....
It happened with my only son aakash maindwal, just 25 yrs and about to get married this month. He was coming back from his office when this accident took place. If any one had taken action in time his life could have been saved and I would have had my son with me today. I dont want that it should happen with any one else in this world. It is an appeal of a mother, that we all should fight against inhumanity. When this accident occurred, there were ten to fifteen employees of TELCO present in the bus that hit my son's car and no one had courage to call the police and help them as my son was driving a car and that bus from which accident occurred were bringing the employees of Telco after the duty. They didn't even bother about the victims and ran away. This is such inhuman behavior that the victim is left to die and no one has any compassion to help. Also when the person who rushed my son to the hospital reached the spot the Police and the ambulance were standing there just watching…. Can you believe this…??????
See how inhuman they were.
This accident occurred in Lucknow and Im sure many such accidents happen everywhere in India
My question to all : "Why we dont have courage and decency to help the victims of road accidents. He was my only child. Due to negligence of the inhuman people he lost his life."

Unfortunately this kind of thing does have a name in human psychology, im searching for it now. It's when there's a accident, an assault or even murder and no one does anything because they're expecting someone else to do something.
EDIT:
Found it.
The Bystander Effect.
The bystander effect is a social psychological phenomenon in which individuals are less likely to offer help in an emergency situation when other people are present. The probability of help is inversely proportional to the number of bystanders. In other words, the greater the number of bystanders, the less likely it is that any one of them will help.
The case of Kitty Genovese is the most famous example of the bystander effect. It is also the case that originally stimulated social psychological research in this area. Ms. Genovese was stabbed to death in 1964 by a serial rapist and murderer. According to newspaper accounts, the killing took place for at least a half an hour. The murderer attacked Ms. Genovese and stabbed her, but then fled the scene after attracting the attention of a neighbor. The killer then returned ten minutes later and finished the assault. Newspaper reports after Genovese's death claimed that 38 witnesses watched the stabbings and failed to intervene or even contact the police. This led to widespread public attention and editorials that the United States had become a cold, uncaring society.

I am so incredibly sorry for this loss. Your situation is heartbreaking. It is at the worst times , we know what people are really made of. It is so incredibly sad that people are so into themselves that out of decent instinct - they fail to help a fellow brother.
I remember an incident about twenty years ago... where I witnessed something pretty bad. I was absolutely shocked that out of about twenty plus people, no one did a thing - they completely ignored the horror of what they were witnessing and went about their business. It was instinct that made me jump in action, and in less than a millisecond. My rational mind told me that everyone would feel the same as I and I could not believe I had do this by myself. I am blessed that nothing happened to me. I have no idea of the psychology behind this, but it is baffling. I know you will see your boy again one day, and I pray for the lord to comfort you.

So sorry for your loss, my Heart goes out to you and your family. (Pause). The world today is SO wicked with inhumane people worldwide. I agree, we do need more compassion for each other, Almighty God gave us that ability to express.
Thank you for your reminder, I commit to continuing to help people in any way possible but mainly helping them to see that Jehovah God, a God that cannot lie, promises to resurrect persons who has fallen asleep in death back to life here on this paradise earth.
"There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15)
Death and pain will be done away with. Rev 21:3,4
Have Faith in that Promise from Jehovah!
IF I can provide any help or comfort in this time, please e-mail me!.
