I woke up after this surgery, had pain for two months, now MRI shows tears in quadricep. Dr Swears nothing happened during surgery. How could this happen? Pre-surgical MRI shows no tears in quad.

Even for me i could not figure this one out, a meniscus arthroscope that afterwards has a torn quad with pre-surgical MRIs showing no tear. I would get a second opinion and maybe a lawyer.
