How much is a reasonable amount of money to get if medical procedure wasn't taken? for example moving a person with neck injuries without a neck brace or using unsanitary surgical tools?

well, it depends on what has happened to you. If you got hurt or sick, some good amount of money, but, if nothing much happened... there is no use in making a doctor miserable just for a quick buck...

There is no way to give "ballpark" figures for malpractice lawsuits. The factors that must be considered include how much has the injured party spent on medical bills to correct any damage, how much will the person have to spend on future medical bills related to the injury, lost earning potential, etc. Only insurance companies will value a lost arm at X dollars, and a lost leg at Y dollars.

Each medical malpractice lawsuit is different. The plaintiff must prove (a) that the defendant(s) caused the injury or loss and (b) the value of the injury or loss.
For instance, if I am injured so severely that I cannot continue my employment, I would include lost earnings as part of the suit. If I have another 15 years of anticipated employment averaging $ 50,000 annually, I would include at least $ 750,000 for that portion of the loss.
The only way to find out whether you can prove malpractice and, if so, how much is the value of the loss, is to consult your attorney.

Depends on the harm caused. If the docs did something terribly stupid with an incredible risk of harm, but the only actual harm was cured by bandaid, then that is worth about two bucks. If the harm caused the premature death of someone likely to make millions, then the family that lost those millions should get what they lost.

No one on here can answer that. It could be underestimated or overestimated. You need to contact a personal injury attorney in your area (or the area of the injury). They'll be able to give you a reasonable answer based on their experience and of the law.
Ask for a free phone consultation or a complimentary office visit. Most personal injury attorneys will not charge you. This way you can ask all the questions you want.
Good luck and win!

Well it is my understanding that tort reform has pretty much put the kibash on large med mal lawuit awards. I am not certain if it is a federal act or state by state, so you would have to research your state the federal act.
