i just received my settlement fro and accident in june fo 09 anyway i was told by my lawyer to make a medical claim now this is what i wont to know at first we a was supposed to receive a percent of the money after state farm payed the medical claim to the chiropractor should me and the lawyer split the settlement or do the chiropractor still get a percent of the money please help bc i feel like ive been ripped off

I would check with State Farm Insurance to see if they paid the Chiropractor already. They will be able to let you know if you are responsible for paying the Chiropractic bill or if they have already paid it. You can check first with the Chiropractic Office to see if they received the full amount due for services or not. You can ask them if they received any payments from State Farm and if so when and how much. I would find all this out first, prior to splitting any money with the attorney. Hope this helps.
