i had a baby 3 weeks ago. 1 week before i had the baby i had a ultrasound to determine estimated fetal weight, well the technician told me i had a accessory placenta. during labor i started bleeding, the nurse said it was normal, when the dr checked me he said i had placenta previa. he did not bring me in for a c-section i had the baby naturally. my son was born very pale with low blood count and he was barely breathing he had to be sent to tallahasse to be in the nicu and they told me it was because he was without adequate oxygen and blood supply since my placenta had also abrupted. i was told that i had a lucky delivery by the dr. now, everyone keeps telling me to get a lawyer and sue the dr. i need your opinions!
my baby is doing great now and i am doing better but we both went through alot.

Unless you or the baby have been injured permanently I'm not sure you can sue for much. Most lawyer will give a free initial consultation. They will be better at assessing your case then "answers" will be.
