Why don't you first find out why he doesn't want to do it, some people have a hang up doing CPR because of germs/blood/vomit. I'm sorry that your marriage didn't work out but you need to spend less time trying to "get him" and more time making sure your kid has a good childhood without all the B.S. drama.

And next time feel free to post without the CAP LOCK's

Good Luck,

Is your child getting treatment for asthma and seizures? Then there is no medical neglect. Now while everyone should know CPR, what does CPR have to do with asthma and seizures?

Get over it. Your marriage is over. Your child is not a tool to "get" your husband. Move on and quit worrying about getting back at him, and start worrying about your child.

Well, for one, quit trying to "get him".... that's immature. Your marriage didn't work. It's over. You have a kid to think about. Now, if the doc said it was very important to have the class, you can file a petition to get SOLE custody rather than joint on the basis that he is unfit. Why unfit? Because he's not following a doctor's orders that were placed in the best interest of the child. The child's safety is involved and if he is not willing to learn CPR (if your son throws up during a seizure and aspirates, you need to know how to get him breathing again) then he is unfit. It's like having a parent that allows his kids to run with a double-edged sword. Just not cool. Once you hit him with that, he has a certain amount of time to legally respond, in that time, he can take the CPR class and say "here, I did it". Usually, if a man thinks he's going to lose the privilege of having a son, they will straighten up and become a better father.
