So, my mom has blood pressure problems, amongst other problems. And basically, the family clinic we go to, she always sees one particular doctor. He has prescribed her everything she is on, and (this has happened 3 times now), my mother has been prescribed a medication that conflicts with her other medications and it nearly kills her. This last time, renal failure was just barely avoided.
Is it possible to nail this guy with malpractice? He has her chart, he IS her history, he should know what she's on, and he keeps giving her medications that are essentially wearing her down.
EDIT: Oh, the only way we found out what had her completely immobilized was bringing her to another doctor.

I wouldn't do anything until you speak with an attorney familiar with medical malpractice lawsuits. You don't want to alert anyone to the issue until you know what you are doing. The attorney can subpoena the records at the clinic, and proceed from there.
