It's very confusing how these are supposed to be combined or what operation is supposed to be done. Which way does the horseshoe point, up or down? Is it a lucky horseshoe or an unlucky horseshoe? I'd expect a pointy one.
I've discovered my browser will render '& cap ;' or '& cup ;' (take out the spaces and single quote marks) as HTML entities, but not '& and ;'
It might be easiest just to use the English word. Sometimes there's a Unicode character that can work.
