considering the new partnership with government and private interests?
When a different political agency assumes management over your health and well being, how will your right to optional medical care be maintained?

It won't be. We already see some of that by allowing insurance companies to decide how long or what treatment is "necessary." The infamous DRGs. Before, a doctor decided if you needed to be in the hospital to recover from say, gall bladder surgery. Now insurance companies decide how long you should stay in.
The same will happen with gov't control except worse. They will decide if you need treatment and what type. If there is no money at the time, then you don't need treatment. The best thing any of us can do is to take control of our own lifestyles.

No political agency will assume management over my health and well being. It is MY responsibility.
its Mrs. Dingleberry to you
exactly Killer Queen....
but you know the sad thing is the insurance companies always say "we didn't tell you that you had to discharge Mr. Smith from the hospital on day 2, we just said we weren't going to pay for continued stay. It's your decision doctor." such BS... My guess is the gov will pull the same sh!t. It's scary. People should try to understand the implications on their healthcare if we socialize medicine.
