I am fairly sure I have a pretty good case to make for a medical malpractice lawsuit, and I am looking for the best possible medical malpractice lawyer in the Pittsburgh area...but of course all medmal lawyers claim they're the most successful and get you money the most.
So my question is, what objective resource exists where I can compare and contrast the success of local medmal lawyers, so I know
how sucessful the lawyer I'm signing up for is?

Nothing like that is public as malpractice awards are most of the time tied in with a nondisclosure agreement.

As stated above, many settlements hold a privacy clause which prohibits parties from stating publicly how their cases result.
However, please do not worry about who is a better lawyer. You have to understand that attorneys will do their job effectively regardless of who it is. The public gets these ideas in their heads from TV that there's a hotshot attorney that will get the most money and will really stick it to the other party. If anything, you'll be paying an attorney 2 or 3 times as much for the same outcome.
If an attorney fails to do his job there are ways to go after the attorney in legal malpractice claims. However, don't let publicity of a certain attorney alter your decision. Good luck on getting your money either way.
