I had surgery on October 28,2010 to fix 3 hernias. I had an umbilical, ventral, and an incisional hernia. The doctor said he fixed all of them but I still have an umbilical hernia. I also had to go back into the hospital 4 days after I was discharged because I had cellulitis and MRSA. I was in for 11 days and sent home on a wound vac, which was so painful it was unbareable. I was put back in again 7 days later with MRSA again. I was in for 12 days again. My stomach has been left open to close. The Dr was very rude to me in the hospital and would come cut at my stomach without any pain meds or numbing medication and yelled at me for crying. My incision is still trying to heel but the Dr won't give anything else for pain. I will have a very disfiguring scar. Can someone please tell me what to do!!!

Always try to talk to a lawyer; they usually have the best and most accurate advice for you.
As far as I see it, you may possibly have a good case but it's important to talk to a professional before taking any action.

I agree. Talk to an attorney that specializes in malpractice. There's a good chance that an attorney would take it on percentage and it wouldn't cost you anything if there's a case.

It's impossible to know without reviewing your medical records and having a second opinion by another doctor. All we have so far is "your version" but we have no way to know how accurate is your story. And for sure we also need to hear what the other side has to say about it.
In simple words: consult another doctor to get a second opinion, and then talk to a lawyer to review your case.
