I would like to have medical marijuana in my state. If i'm not mistaken I believe you can print a bill or proposition about passing medical marijuana, submit it at city hall and they committee has to look at it. Is this true and if so could someone further explain it, and send a link to the bill/proposition that should be submitted. If this isn't true could someone please tell me how to take action in my state for medical marijuana.

Medical Marijuana firstly isn't available everywhere so you'll have to check on whether it is legal in Mississippi yourself. Next as the name suggests it is for MEDICAL purposes. It is often used for the treatment of chronic pain, usually associated with a terminal illness. If you don't fit this bill then you're plain out of luck.
It is PRESCRIBED by a doctor, and it is at their discretion. There are VERY strict laws around medical marijuana, all other legal options have to have failed to provide relief before it can be prescribed.

If you're not elderly or dying no doctor will take the risk prescribing it unless you're in California.

Unless you are terminal ill then you can't use it. It can't be used just because you want it. It should not be used just for pain.(back ache,headache etc..)

The first thing first - you have to be ill in order to get it.That's the answer - to be ill FIRST. Second you must get a recommendation from your doctor. Thirdly, your state must have passed the required bill to allow medical marijuana to be dispensed.
In my opinion often-times people pester their doctor because they are addicted to marijuana and hoping to be able to smoke it with legal impunity.
