Feel free to persuade me and make me understand but in a NICE POLITE RESPECTFUL MANNER!
Ok why is it that if you purposely hurt a cop whther kill him, or run him off the road or injure him you go away for a LONG time
BUT why is it that parents who abuse their children(babies especially) very negligence to them, hang around child molestors, drink heavily perform sexual acts in front of the, do drugs...they get nothing and their kids don't get taken away?
I know a personl that did this. I just don't understand why she can't get any jailtime how she treats kids but oh no if you touch a law enforcement you're going to hell.
Can you explain that to me?

good question i don't think anyone knows the answer. but their kids should be taken away. maybe its because they need cops to enforce the law more then they need jailbirds??

As much as we like to tout our judicial system as fair and unbiased, that is a terrible misconception. Our legal and judicial system is rife with corruption, bias, human error, discrimination and ignorance.
Judges sit in palatial chambers, make obscene salaries, and literally hold a man's life in their hands. If they don't like the way he looks, or behaves, or smiles, the will be harder on him than on someone whom they perceive to be a better person.
Lawyers use all kinds of cheap theatrics and sleight-of-hand tricks to portray their clients in the best light. "Experts" will testify to anything if you pay them enough. And, if you've got a lot of money, you can get away with murder in this country.
I agree: mothers who put their one-month-old babies in a microwave, fathers who sexually molest their own children, or parents who neglect the care and well-being of their kids, all ought to face severe punishment. But our "system" sometimes doesn't work very well.
It's more a matter of "who you know" or "what you can afford".
The U.S.A. has more corrupt judges and evil lawyers than any place else on Earth. We are a litigious society where nothing else matters except "winning" - at any cost.
There's little place in a judicial system for "right" or "wrong". It's all about money, showmanship, media spin, and cozy kind of nepotism between law enforcement, the judicial system, and patronizing attorneys. "If you butter my bread, I'll spread the jam on really thick." Our government, our legal system, and our judicial system is more like "Let's make a Deal" than it's like truth, justice, and the American way. -RKO-

Well sweetie, its like this! a cop is suppose to be our so called only means of Help,so if you touch one you are in deep trouble.I can not tell you any other reason. Are they all good cops? NO,they get away with abuse all the time, but they are like a family ,actually better than most families they stick togeather...They are our own means of a deterant that we have,so they are held in the upmost respect....as far as the parents that abuse their children? all you can do is complain to the child protection agentcy, and they are so over loaded with complains that it is hard to get around to all the people...Child molestors lurk in every corner of the world, behind bushes and dark alley ways,if caught they get punished and put back on the street to continue in their crimes...Drugs and drunks and sexual assaults are every where....A lot of the drug dealers are just that, there are the BIg guys that get the drugs and smuggle them into the country, and get pushers to hand them out and sell them to people on the street, and they make more money than our top officials....Our world is filled with crime, there is not enough police and enough workers that protect the innocent babies,as there are the ones committing the crimes...Thats why we as citizens have to look out for each other and fight for each other, and help to protect each other,we are our brothers keepers....I know its hard for us to stomach sometimes but its just the way it is...I wish with all my heart that it were different but we just have to try and make the world better by being Good....im sorry i couldnt be a better support to you...Just ask gods help every day.
