What is the conservative healthcare plan?

If it's not "don't get sick and, if you do, die quickly?" Keep in mind malpractice reform will likely solve only a very small percentage of the problems we face. Do conservatives really just want to keep the status quo without saying so?

45,000 dead Americans a year. I guess "mass graves" would be the conservative health care strategy.

They plan to cover themselves only.

The losers will find out when they lose their jobs what the problem is.

They get dumber by the day.

None.

Health care wasn't an issue for last several years until Obama told us he needed to fix it or else the economy will collapse.

It's the same excuse he'll use to get any of his agenda pass.

He got elected because he said without his leadership we're going to be in a recession worse than the Great Depression.

Myth #1: Corporate profit makes health insurance unaffordable.

No. The lack of an incentive to control costs makes health insurance unaffordable. Once people burn their deductibles, they don't care how much money they cost the system. It's all covered. If corporate profit was the enemy, all we'd need would be anti-trust legislation relating specifically to the health insurance industry. We wouldn't need a government takeover of the industry.

The truly conservative response is to abolish health insurance of any kind. If people pay cash for their health care, the expensive procedures would never be performed until someone invented a cheaper procedure. The only way to drive health care costs is to make health care services less expensive. And the only way to make them less expensive is to not pay any hospitals or doctors for performing procedures that no one can afford.

the "Walk it off" plan.
Opening up for interstate trade will only allow insurance companies to all move to the one state with the least restriction as far as how quickly they can dump people, and how much they can eff them out of coverage. They win, we lose.

Hey I'm all on board now. I want every liberal to get what they are asking for and I mean that. My deepest desire is to see public healthcare for liberals. I'll gladly kick in to see that you get it.

simple=insurance companies make more money in the name of "NO BIG GOVERNMENT."
they dont want to change the status quo......... and yes for the thousands who have suffered, conservatives dont care.......burried in resentment for change

They also want to open up the ability of private insurers to sell across state lines, this would increase competition overnight and help bring prices down.

Will this solve all the problems? probably not, but it is a step in the right direction.

Read my lips - its a tax
Its called personal responsibility. Liberals hate that.
