I was the latest statistic to succumb to the iTunes fraud due to leaked username/password list. I am in a VERY frustrating situation which I will spare you the details of; however, I have called and confirmed with PayPal that all of the transactions which are going to debit my account are fraud, and they confirmed that there has been a leaked copy of user names and passwords on the internet. She then severed the link of my iTunes and PayPal accounts. This has been a VERY sensitive situation which has me pulling my hair out due to the unwillingness of Apple, PayPal, nor my bank for that matter to do anything other then reply with a 'Yep Your Screwed' attitude. I know I am not the only one to fall victim to the repercussions of apple's negligence and disregard for trusted account security. Does any one know if there are already centralized plans in the works for a large class action lawsuit against iTunes/PayPal? If so please advise.

Thank You,
Concerned Consumer

Unfortunately I have no direct answer regarding your specific question. The only class action lawsuit against paypal right now won't help you any, it's for their illegal holding of funds. http://www.letssuepaypal.com/phpBB2/index.php

There are a number of government agencies that you can file complaints with about both of these businesses. Have you lost any money? Whether you have or you haven't, filing complaints may push lawmakers into looking at these bad policies that are getting people ripped off.

Also, screw-paypal.com has an extensive section of places to contact, how to contact them...

The better business bureau, attorney general's office. You state senators. A local newspaper/ tv news station. Anyone whom you think will help. I'm in the process of doing the same. Feel free to email me If you want to hear about THAT drama.
