My doctors messed me up and I am suing the snot out of them....thing is they are military doctors at a US military facility.
It seems to be going on forever. This year it will be two years in March.

The government is immune from suit *except* when it chooses to allow someone to sue them. When you accept treatment at a military hospital you accept the terms under which they treat you - which includes that they are not liable for messing up.
That said, the Government does, sometimes, pay a settlement in cases where the malpractice was particularly egregious. It's rare though, and it's a slow and complicated process.
If, as would be normal, your lawyer is handling your case on contingency (you don't pay him unless and until you get paid) then he has as much incentive as you to see this through as fast as possible - it's just a slow process. Two years is not, I'm afraid, at all unusual.
