i have to take out a friends staples from his head using a medical staple remover ? and i dont know how to use it
the nurse gave me the tool to use to take out the staples but she didnt explain how to use it

Why in the world are you doing it? I;ve never ever heard of them giving one of those staple remover tools to someone randomly like that. You need to be shown how to use it.
A nurse or doctor should be doing that. Sounds odd to me.

most staple removers are operated like scissors-the difference is instead of scissor tips, one side has 2 prongs, the other side has 1 prong. when you squeeze the handles, they close together so that the single side closes between the side with 2 prongs. wash your hands well before starting. insert the double prongs under the staple then slowly squeeze. this bends the staple in half while the ends of the staple will rise out of the skin. be sure to follow the doctor's directions for cleaning the wound after the staples are out.
