I had an auto accident in which my vehicle flipped 5 times at 70 miles an hour on the interstate on July 31 2006 and was brought to a local facility and was not treated properly. I did not have as much as an x-ray done to make sure I was indeed fine. I was given pain pills and sent home. I did not realize at the time that it was neglience and that they did not provide the standard of care. I am wondering what is the statue of limitaions to find out if I can sue the hospital and EMS company for this because it has been traumatizing and brings tears to my eyes to think on what could have happened. I lived in and continue to live in Georgia and the accident happened and I was treated in Tennessee ( I live very close to the state line) Dont know if this matters on the timeline that I can sue. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately I do not thing you can file a case as Tennessee law says medical malpractice actions must be commenced within one year of the date of the injury or discovery of injury but in no event more than three years from the date of the accident or occurrence
