On June 22 2010 I had a surgery for a blockage in my utheria tube and a hysterectomy plus I had to have a hernia repair. I ha three doctors to complete this surgery. Doctor Davis was the one that was doing the hernia repair. In stead of taking the old mesh out he stitched up the old mess. I got very sick from the surgery had a tube up my noose for over a week, ( a little piece of my nose is gone now). I ended up getting a infection the opened up a part of my incision. Doctor Davis never came back to my room after the surgery I never seen him again. He ended up leaving his practice. Another doctor was taking his position in five weeks. I had to have appointments with the student doctors. My stomach ended up turning green. and the nurses that was coming to the house knew it was not right. I was sent back in forth to the student doctors and all they would tell me is I told you it was an infection. and sent me home. I ended up having another appointment for the GYN doctor and he took one look at my stomach not even an inch of it and put me in the hospital himself. He said if you were my daughter, mother, wife or family member I would tell you the same you need to be in the hospital and I'm sending an infection disease doctor to see you. I went straight to hospital after that and three days later I was home again. I had a smell to me that was nasty. all the washing I did would not get the stink off. Now I had two weeks left before the new doctor got there. And my stomach was turning greener and smeller. My nurses was sending me back and forth to the ER. Finally Dr Schneider gets to the new office and I got to see him. I had my new surgery in August 2010 I think the 23th. I still felt something was wrong. Ended up going back and forth and ended up with 4 more surgeries and not coming home to stay until October 29th 2010. I did almost die , I had an infection and my muscles inside of stomach had rotted (the bad smell). Dr Schneider was concerned he came to my room every day and had to cut more of the infected mush put almost everyday. Please help me I know Doctor Davis messed me up and I almost died because he didn't take the time and do the surgery right and or didn't follow up.

If you look in the yellow pages, you should be able to find an ad that talks about medical malpractice. If you don't find one, try an attorney who handles personal injury cases.
The attorney shouldn't charge for an initial consultation. There will, however, be some costs involved. They might be for an investigator, for the cost of records, for expert witnesses. Usually the attorney gets a part of the settlement. You might be expected to pay for the costs. Be sure you understand how the finacial part of the case will be handled. You don't want to lose the case and then have to pay costs.
