If the operation is incomplete : is the hospital liable to
finish the operation> If you had out of pocke expences
should you be compensated

depends on the circumstances -- did the doctor "deviate from the standard of care/practice" -- what State do you live in? -- do you have "permanent damages" from this other than out-of-pocket expenses? Do you think another doctor would agree that the first doctor deviated from standard care/practice? How did the operation go bad? Do you really WANT the same hospital to finish the operation? were there extenuating circumstances that the operation didn't get completed? These are all questions for a lawyer to answer...
