It is not because I don't trust my dr. There was a dr from where I live that has a really reason for malpractice suit and since I just found out I was going to have another baby I wanted to make sure that my OB does not have alot of suit againt him. I love my OB, he did a great job with my last 2 children. I also work in the medical filed before I became a stay at home mom so I know all about unhappy people and suit for no real reason. But it is my right to find out about my OB and I wanted to make sure. Nothing wrong with that :-)

Don't open up that can of worms. Malpractice suits don't always mean that the doctor was wrong. People who don't like the outcome of their treatment sue their doctors in the hopes of winning huge sums of money. Most are unwarranted. Doctors are human and therefore are subject to the human factor, which is: they can make mistakes. It's called practicing medicine. Until it is called perfected medicine, mistakes will occur. If you have no confidence in your current doctor, then find another.

zzzzz
from the state licensing department in the state in which his license is issued
being sued for malpractice however does not mean any negative fault was found on the doctors part
any one can sue anyone for anything if they have a mind to
it sounds like you do not trust your doctor
if that is the case find another you are more comfortable with
