medical malpractice states

In a medical setting even if they have a doctorate if a patient is in need of serious medical care wouldn't it be malpractice to misrepresent themselves as a medical doctor. Giving advice as if it were the advice of a legally full fledged medical doctor hampering the ability of the recovery of the patient.
Also is the doctors office libel for misrepresenting their pa as a doctor calling them doctor telling patients they are doctor so and so knowing full well they are only PA's. Because even if they have a doctorate it is misleading to call them as such in a medical office implying they are a medical doctor giving them the responsibility to make major medical decisions without the ramifications of malpractice behind it.

Someone who is not a medical doctor or otherwise licensed to practice some form of medicine, like a PA or perhaps an LPN cannot commit medical malrpactice. I have a juris doctorate. I cannot commit medical malpractice. If I do it, it's called practicing medicine without a license. Same for anyone else who is not a medical professional.
