This person (Let us call him Fred) I know recently had a surgery done on a ruptured disc in his back. This was all done through workmans Comp doctor, whom did a terrible job. Currently Fred is back in the hospital due to 2 ruptured disc and 2 bulging disc, and currently in a lawsuit against that doctor. Fred is in a hospital that the workmans comp doctor does not work at. However that doctor came in and "released" him from that hospital and took his medical files that have the new MRI results on it. Fred told the hospital nurse about the doctor, the lawsuit, and the fact that that dr. is not suppose to be around fred. Nurse ignored him. Just as fred ignored the "release." Any help will be gladly appreciated

The horrors of government experimental medicine have not been revealed to the public since the inception of experimental medicine as managed by government legislation.

Whether he obtained the records improperly is an issue between him and the local AMA branch.
It makes no difference to the court case, since Fred would have to provide those anyway, as evidence in the case

File suit against the hospital, and the doctor. Get an attorney - you are about to get some big bucks. Hospitals know better, and to let another doctor seize a hospital file would be criminal behavior.
