It has been made to seen that malpractice lawsuits against doctors have driven up our insurance rates threw the roof, but I have never met anyone that has actually sued a doctor for malpractice. I have met a lot of people that have been messed up pretty bad by poor physicians, but never any one that has actually sued.
Have you or anyone you have ever known sued a doctor for malpractice?

My grandparents tried to sue a doctor for malpractice but really got no where with it. My uncle had surgery on his nasal passages (which is an outpatient surgery) and was sent home. They had packed his sinus cavity to prevent bleeding out (which is common.) The night after his surgey he died at home from suffocation. Like I said before they got no where with the lawsuit. Very sad situation...but what can you do.

No I have never met anyone that has sued for malpractice. I never reall y thought about it before.
