I have a chiropractic degree and want to work in medical malpractice. I want to get part time work while in school. Any recommendations? I will work for free to get experience, is that a good idea?

Have you spoken with the Career Services people at your law school? A lot of times law offices will contact the law schools directly looking for a clerk that can work 10 - 20 hours a week during the school year. The law schools generally post these offers online, email them out to their students, or hang them on a bulletin board somewhere in the school. In Missouri, where I live, these usually pay between $ 10 - $ 15 an hour, so I doubt you'll need to work for free to get a little experience.
