There might also be some consumer advocacy group that keeps tabs on those things. Someone has to since the numbers are always being used by the Bush Admninistration to call for malpractice reform.

A couple of good sources may be the Department of Insurance for the state of Illinois. It is under the Dept. of Commerce. The NICB is a website as well (national insurance crime bureau) which may help you as well.

If all else fails, you went have to do a county by county search in the courts.
