Theodore G. Skarbowski began his legal career in 1992 and has focused his casework primarily on helping babies, children and their parents with medical malpractice claims. A native of Buffalo, New York, Ted left home at the age of 18 in 1973 and hitchhiked across the country in search of his future. His travels took him to many interesting places, including the Pacific coast of Oregon and the Prince William Sound area of Alaska. During that time, Ted worked a variety of different jobs including logging in the forests of Oregon, fish canning, constructing a salmon hatchery on an island in Alaska, and fishing on a tuna boat in the Pacific Ocean. In 1977, Ted traveled to Texas where he worked construction as a heavy equipment operator and a truck driver. Mr. Skarbowksi's experience as a working man and father have influenced his practice of law and engendered a deep dedication to his clients and their families. He knows through personal experience the dedication, determination and tenacity that are required to succeed in life and the law. Ted strives to apply those same characteristics to the legal services he provides every client at the Talaska Law Firm.
