He was Dakota High School's basketball star, Macomb County's top shooter and a junior, entertaining scholarship offers from colleges around the country. Then late one night in 2006, the summer before his senior year, Jimmy Moceri was driving home from a work party when he fell asleep at the wheel. His car careened out of control, hit a ditch and rolled several times. Jimmy woke up with a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down.
