My husband and my mother both died from medical error last year. Two unrelated cases, Arizona medical board does nothing. It is not about the money, it is about the mistakes that happen over and over. The facility that killed my mom stepped up and took responsibility, but the famous hospital in phoenix is making me sue them. I did not want to do this, but they are so into fund raising and thinking that they are better than other people. There are so many guidelines that they continue to be able to practice medicine while it takes years to get to court to stop them. I want there to be a better plan for when a mistake a is made and if so then suspend their license until further investigation is done. People are losing their lives and it is not fair.

Most people don't do anything to help.
