What is a MALPRACTICE-MEDICAL case???? He has been doing plastic surgery for 36 years and has had several of those cases but for the past 4 years he hasnt had one so thats good! I am planning on getting my nose done next week by him. He seems to do good nose jobs and i am getting it done no matter what by him because i already paid, but what is a MALPRACTICE-MEDICAL
ok thank you. over the past 20 years he has had 15 of these cases.
but why would someone sue him?? it didnt turn out the way they wanted? i'm confused

It means someone wasn't happy with their nose job, and hired a lawyer. Nothing more can be concluded from the information you gave, not even if any of the allegations against him are true or false.
In your shoes, I would do similar searches on his competition. How long have they been plastic surgeons, and how many cases did they experience? Find an average number of cases per year, and then find out if your doc is above or below that average.
EDIT:
15 divided by 20 is 0.75. That is 0.75 cases per year. Find out what his competition's averages are. Lower number is better.
EDIT 2:
Someone would sue him because they are saying they believe he did something unethical or illegal. Are they making that claim because it is true, or because they are after money? Some of both, surely. That is why I suggested finding an average and using that. Assuming liars and money grabbers are equally spread out amongst plastic surgeons but the surgeons themselves differ in quality, the average will reveal the truth about who the good doctors are, and who the bad/unethical doctors are.
If hypothetically, all of the other plastic surgeons together have an average of 0.2 cases per year year but your doctor has an average of 0.75 cases per year... run for your life.

the doc has performance , customer service issues, get the honker fixed elsewhere
malpractice is the careless use of medical training,or unproven techniques to treat patients,
leading to legal action,,this guy may cause a lot of grief

Most doctors never have a med malpractice case in their career. This guy has had 15. I'd be finding a new plastics guy.

People sue doctors for any number of reasons. What is rather more important is whether he lost any of those cases. If he lost, then that means that someone was able to convince a court that they suffered some compensatable loss as a result of a mistake he made. The mistake could be almost anything, but the medical malpractice part tells you it was something to do with his medical practice, rather than, say failure to pay his bills or crashing his car.
