Okay, so I went to a doctor today who pretty much wants to cut me of my medication. I also found out that he lets politics get in the way of his medical profession (He's a die-hard republican) And I want to report him and get him into trouble. Need advice. Thanks.
@ Acidburn
He, along with other doctors are against helping the sick it seems. Get use to this. There will be a lot of people dying because of people like him. If I go into withdraws and nearly die because of his malpractice decision given that i have been on the same meds for 6 years now. Yeah, if I don't sue him, my parents will. lol
@ comrade Hussien Satan

Yeah, you're blocked.
@Kathi S
I'm not abusing squat. I take it as prescribed. He's just a liberal hatin' doctor that thinks people like me should not be worth the treatment. Just for that. I'm blocking you too.

There is nothing you can get him in trouble for. Change doctors if you disagree with him.

You don't have to follow his advice.

And know that if you feel he is committing malpractice, then YOU have the burden to prove so. I don't think the judge is gonna buy "but he's a republican" as your proof that he's committing malpractice. lol

EDIT: Unless you are a minor, then your parents cannot sue on your behalf. Like I said, if you feel he committed malpractice, then YOU have to prove it. You don't have to follow his advice. It is quite possible that the "standard of care" calls for the doctor to decrease your meds, especiallly if those meds were not meant for any patient to be on in the long long term. Malpractice cases are no walk in the park. Many attorneys give free consults, so give it your best shot.

No doctor is forced to prescribe medication for you they do not think you need. If he is cutting you off then he has reason to believe you are abusing the medication. You can try and sue, but you will not get anywhere.
