I was on my way to school on a community college shuttle bus when suddenly this smoking liquid started coming in through the floorboards. Everyone panicked and when the bus stopped there was a stampede to get off the bus. I was pushed out of the bus and stepped on a few times. As a result I have severe back pain to the point that I've had to go to the ER and visit an Orthopaedic doctor. He tells me that this injury may effect me the rest of my life. Do I need to get a lawyer?

Yes get a lawyer. In fact in a case like this they will be free working on contingent.

You may have a case for negligence under tort law. Only a lawyer can advise and take the proper steps to get you a remedy. Furthermore if you can track down any of the people who actually hurt you in the process of tting out you may have a case gainst them too.

Get a lawyer, but also do some research yourself. WWW.findlaw.com is a good place to look.
