Since lawsuits are a matter of public record, does that mean when you sue a doctor fo rmedical malpractice, you don't have the same expectation of privacy? I would imagine that, because you are making your medical care an issue, there would be no way to keep your health information private because the judge and jury have to know about it. Thanks!

You are correct, although plaintiffs are sometimes pressured to agree seal the records from malpractice suits. This is ill advised. If the records are sealed the public cannot get information that may prevent them from befalling the same fate.
