Okay so Long story short, my poor dad at a tender (still young) age of 59/60 got all his teeth taken out to get dentures. He paid thousands and thousands of money (that we didn't really have) to pay for these POORLY made dentures that did not fit him well, and caused him much pain.
They(the damn dentist) replaced them with new ones a couples times but they were still coming off, giving him sores, etc, etc.
Eventually they are refused him of any more service and told him to basically "go somewhere else".
They say that its his mouth that is "different"......seriously?
Now my dad has no choice to eat his food with dentures that keep coming off, cause him pain...and even has SCREWS coming out while he eats.
We really can't afford to be going somewhere else and getting them redone, but we really have no choice. My parents want to sue them, but its really difficult being that they don't speak much english. I really want to help them out, but I really don't know much either.
What kind of lawyer is this?
Medical Malpractice?
Ethics?
Do you guys think we have a good case?

You need a personal injury lawyer. You may have a case. Do you have records, witnesses to statements that were made?
You could start with a well worded letter from yourself. Try not to be emotional. Simply state the facts and state what you want - money deposited into bank account number XXXX or repair of the problem. State that if this is not done within 7 days you will 1) report the matter the relevant dental association and request disciplinary action and 2) Hand the matter to your lawyer to persue justice through the court system. To get the amount demanded you will need an assessment of what it will cost to fix from another (better) dentist.
Don't think just mal practice there, are many ways to approach this issue. That's what the lawyer is for. Yes, for a negligence or mal practice claim it would have to be a severe error but your lawyer may find that there is a contracts issue here. There may be a number of ways to approach this problem. Also the lawyer will use any possible embarrasment to the dentist for the poor work done to the benefit of your father.
Many personal injury lawyers will do no win no fee (remember, this is not free, as there are costs other than the cost of the lawyer). It is worthwhile having a talk to a lawyer, you should be able to find someone who will give you 30 minutes to outline your story without charging.
Try the letter first though. It's quick and cheap and can be used as evidence later if neccessary.
Good luck.

You would need to consult a Malpractice lawyer. And to be honest from the amount of information given it doesn't sound like you have a good case. I know that is not what you want to hear and it's not what I want to tell you but in order for malpractice to the dentist has to have been truly negligent, and you will have to prove that they were negligent. Malpractice suits cannot be typically made whenever they make some kind of human error. And in this case the dentist did try his best to fix the dentures and if your Dad brought inexpensive dentures there is only so much that can be done. I am sure they did their best to help him and since if a malpractice suit is filed it will be a matter of public record no dentist or health care provider wants this on their record. If your father's mouth is "different" and dentures don't fit him comfortably and the dentist tried his best to make them, then he provided his services as best as he could and told your father that he should look for help elsewhere. Which he had the right to do.
I am sure I am going to get a lot of thumbs down for this but I have a BS in Pre-Law major Criminal Justice minor, went to law school for a year started my family and got a degree in Medical Billing/Health Care Administration and I answered your question to the best of my knowledge. I do hope your father gets this taken care of and I hope it all works out for you.

You should sue. Please sue! Go see another doctor and get his opinion on what they did wrong. Then call a malpractice lawyer and get a FREE consultation. They can tell you what they think. I would also make a complaint with the better business bureau and state attorneys office. You can also contact FREE lawyer services. Do what you can! BE brave.

I had to fo Mexico several years ago to try and fix what an American Dentist screwed up, ya might try going back to the dentist, and take a very nice dremel tool with you and stick it to him, he'd think twice the next time. These newer generation medical people are something else.
