I agree that this whole thing is a violation of state rights. Health reform, if any, should occur at the state level where states COULD include tort reform.

Simple. They want to have their corporate buddies have no liability for their actions. You know how those Republicans are always preaching for people to take responsibility for their own actions, but that doesn't count if you are a corporation.
