Because of the wrong dosage I was in the hospital for seven days. Five of them in ICU in a coma. The neurologist omitted to the mistake to another doctor verbally and written. It didn't result in death or a long term disability only the bill & pain & suffering should I sue him?

Yes he should be held accountable.*

you mean admitted to the mistake? sure you can try. be advised that doctors stick together. mal practice suits are difficult.

crikey...what if he did it to somebody else and they did die?? i would sue him in a heartbeat...you are lucky to be alive after being in a coma....suing him will ensure he NEVER makes a possibly fatal mistake ever again!!

He should cover all expenses plus pain and suffering. Just ask if he wants to settle out of court or be sued and have the negative publicity. The Hospital needs to be sued as well.

I agree with knowitall, discuss settlement with Dr. & hospital. That's the easiest and quickest way. A suit takes years and years. They try to wear you down with delays.

He should be reported to your State Board Of Medical Examiners, at the very least.

That's a question only you can answer. You certainly have a case. Whether you want to bring it is your decision.
