From the supplier: Consumer rights advocates have sent Pres Bill Clinton and the President's Task Force on Health Care Reform Chmn Hillary Rodham Clinton a list of health care reform proposals that call for greater regulation of medical malpractice. The advocates disputed charges that liberal malpractice litigation laws increase health care costs. They also expressed concern that the malpractice reform provisions being considered by the Clinton administration are medical lobby subterfuges that would produce excessive medical industry profits and deprive consumers of the right to quality health care.
