What is a collaborating attorney/lawyer?

just want to ask what is the definition of a collaborating attorney or lawyer, its responsibilities and should be work ethic? i need a related literature for it so if u know it or better yet, u can direct me to a link for a more proper definition for it (also so that i may be able to properly address its author or writter or where it was defined) i would appreciate it more!

The answer is this is another attorney who has consulted on or otherwise assisted in the case.

GC-We made need more information, but there's a whole new area of law called "collaborative law." It's being used a lot in family law/divorce/ business disputes. You can hire a lawyer only to try to resolve a dispute who has been trained in collaborative law. These type of attorneys will not go to court for you.
