I am looking for an Attorney who would be willing to help me in a possible med negligence case. I had lap hernia repair and my small bowel was nicked 3 times. I got sepsis and peritonitis and in hospital for one month. Is there any negligence or malpractice I can recover expenses for ? I have ongoing problems and going on 2 yrs now. Probably. I had a neuro surgeon leave a tear in the tissue around my spinal cord and I go Bacterial Spinal Meningitis. Almost died. Have yet to fully recover 1.5 yrs later. But I figure if I sued the guy, I would have to move as no doctor in this state would touch me.

Believe it or not I went throught the exact same thing in 2006.I was prepared for surgery and they perforated my small bowel 3months in the hospital and 4 surgerys.And I became septic and I was in the hospital for 31/2 months,I got congestive heart failure because of being septic.I contacted an attorney,he tried to persue the case and the medical advisor on his team told him that that is is chance that you take when you go through the procedure..I hope that you can contact an attorney in your area and have better results than I did..take care..
