I was injured six years ago in a car accident and have been to many doctors for this condition. Some didn't appear to believe me about how much pain this caused me with activity, and it took a long time for me to get minimally treated for the pain. Six years later, I have been declared permanently disabled. Living in poverty and unable to work much due to my condition, and losing job after job trying to earn some, any, income to get by, which I could hardly do, I have lost teeth not being able to afford dental care (many), and in too much pain to think about sitting in a dentist's chair. With the back money from disability I got this year, I invested in a laptop and had started researching more my injury and condition, after years of searching for answers through doctors who flat out told me there was no surgery for my condition. A simple google search with my condition and the word surgery turned up many doctors around the country who did surgery on this condition. I don't even know what to think. From reading doctor's notes basically lying about many facts, I always thought they were trying to cover this up to avoid a lawsuit, realizing much later in the game that this was much more serious than they realized, although I still had a hard time getting treated for pain and was mainly bedridden in too much pain to stand up.

Do you think that this is patient neglect and negligence. All the insurance money from the original accident was used up in the first several years on income loss and medical bills, and on a re-entry to work, I easily re-injured more seriously my condition in a broken chair, so now half of the bills are paid by worker's comp, and you (medicare) will pay the rest. Do you think the doctor's should pay ? I cannot even to begin to tell you how I have suffered.

If you get a good lawyer you have got a case for your self. However the only problem is what proof do you have? You have to have proof to win a lawsuit otherwise everyone would go around and accuse people and sue them because the judge took the plaintiffs word over the defendant. You might be able to get records that you actually saw the Doctors but once again youll need proof of what they said because they are not going to turn themselves in, theyre going down with a fight especially since they got the money to do so. Good luck though and may God help you with this!

Your state has regulations about your condition. Some states allow a one time payment to be made and the case is closed and cannot be reopened. I have been hurt on the job and received workman's comp and even got the one time payment for an injury. I still have trouble with my ankle and no longer live in that state. I am on my own, my insurance saw it as preexisting. If pain is the problem consider self help on the internet, the pills only work for a while. Exercise yourself (check with your doc if you are unsure). You got injured and may also be suffering with mental pain. The internet has many answerer but not all of them are correct. If you have a faith most religions have some help locally available. Don't give up!

never trust doctors, always trust your instinct (i have 3 doctors in my family so i know). doctors dont care about your well being or future, most of them dont. they care about their money and making as much as they can. Most doctors also take a few great vacations a few times a year and they live in rich homes as you suffer in pain they are out on their yacht with their family in bermuda or a ski resort somewhere.
you give them the money, they hear your complaints and tell you what the textbook says that they take your money and buy a nice summer home with it.Good field to work in if you can get past residency and medical school.
many times you need to save your own life, research your own solutions and create your own cures. western medicine dosnt cover all of it.
if you want to sue maybe you can,id reccomend using your time to help yourself be as well as possible.
your health matters more than any money. I know how suffering is, I also have pain for many yrs

also dont be fooled by the word sugery, alot of times surgery dosnt help or doctors mess up and it makes the condition worse.
