I filed a complaint with the BBB (better business bureau) 2 months ago on this clinic but they never answered so that they can be safe from their unethical practices.
Is the best thing for me just to file a lawsuit against the clinic?

If its a private practice you would have to file it with the state hes licensed in and I believe you can also file with the AMA if hes a member also.
But suing a doctor doesn't bar them from practicing
medicine, depending on the charges if convicted in a court.
But "ethics" violations are rarely enforced by the state licensing board, at worst he may get a written reprimand from the state or the AMA.
"Ethics"Its not something a court of law can enforce on anyone

You need to file the complaint within the State Board that does the licensing and the medical association he belongs to. They DO enforce ethical standards! You can also sue in the civil court, but there you will have to show damages. No damages, no lawsuit/ If you will have to obtain other doctor's opinion in order to prove your case, that will be the hardest thing to do: getting a doctor to testify against another doctor.

Contact a lawyer. Your attorney will work on a percentage basis. No award, no pay. If he is doing something wrong you owe it to the other patients to do so.
